SHEET TYPES & SELECTION

Start with construction and finished-part intent.

Surface appearance, laminate construction, dimensions, and processing are separate decisions. Final suitability follows the application and drawing—not the product name alone.

01

Woven Carbon Fiber Sheets

Flat laminate stock with a visible woven face. Plain or twill appearance and matte or gloss finish can be discussed separately from the structural construction.

Visible weave · Finish review · Custom dimensions
02

Forged-Pattern Carbon Fiber Sheets

A random chopped-fiber appearance for drawing-based parts where the visible surface and finished geometry are part of the requirement.

Forged appearance · CNC review · Project-defined finish
03

Custom / Drawing-Based Sheets

Sheet construction, dimensions, cut profile, holes, slots, edges, and inspection expectations reviewed together from the application and drawing.

Custom geometry · Feature review · Project dependent
04

Panel / Sandwich Constructions

A separate construction category for projects that require a core or panel architecture. It is not treated as equivalent to a solid laminate sheet.

Separate construction · Interface review · Application dependent

RFQ SPECIFICATION CHECKLIST

Define the sheet from your drawing.

There is no published family-wide size, thickness, or tolerance range. Exact values remain custom or project dependent until the selected construction and drawing are reviewed.

SURFACE & CONSTRUCTION SELECTION

Specify appearance without assuming laminate performance.

Woven and forged-pattern faces support different visual requirements. Neither appearance defines resin, layup, fiber volume, mechanical performance, or service limits.

QUALITY & INSPECTION

Checks tied to the agreed requirement.

Inspection follows the approved drawing and project acceptance criteria. No universal tolerance, certification, sampling plan, or material-certificate claim is made.

  1. 01

    Incoming material check

The selected material format and project requirement are checked before processing.

  2. 02

    In-process check

Construction and processing checkpoints follow the agreed manufacturing route.

  3. 03

    Dimensional inspection

Dimensions and specified features are checked to the approved drawing and acceptance criteria.

  4. 04

    Visual surface inspection

Visible faces, finish, edges, and general condition are reviewed before packing.

  5. 05

    Packing verification

Protection, identification, quantity, and packing are checked before shipment.

BUYER FAQ

Planning a carbon fiber sheet inquiry.

Send the information already available. Missing details can be clarified during feasibility and drawing review.

Can you manufacture carbon fiber sheets to custom dimensions?+

Yes. Overall dimensions, thickness, construction, surface, edge requirements, and finished geometry can be reviewed from your drawing. Final availability is confirmed for the project.

Can you CNC cut or drill carbon fiber sheets?+

Cutting, drilling, holes, slots, cutouts, drawing-based shapes, and edge requirements can be reviewed against the selected sheet construction. Feature limits and tolerances are confirmed after drawing review.

What information should I send for a quotation?+

Send overall dimensions, thickness, quantity, construction and surface preferences, finished geometry, machining features, inspection expectations, packing requirements, destination, and the latest drawing revision when available.

What is the difference between woven and forged-pattern carbon fiber sheets?+

Woven sheets present a regular visible fiber pattern, while forged-pattern sheets present a random chopped-fiber appearance. The appearance alone does not define the complete laminate or its performance, so construction is reviewed for the application.

Can the surface finish be specified?+

Plain or twill appearance and matte or gloss finish can be discussed as inquiry options where supported. Visible faces, finish expectations, and acceptance criteria should be included with the requirement.

Can I upload STEP, DXF, or DWG drawings?+

Yes. The inquiry form accepts PDF, STEP, STP, DXF, DWG, JPG, and PNG files, up to 20 MB each and three files per inquiry.

How are sheets prepared for international shipment?+

Product protection, identification, quantity, and packing are reviewed for the sheet format, order quantity, destination, and agreed delivery terms before shipment.
